I’m delighted to report that my Sing Into Summer workshops have got off to a great start at The Clifton Centre in St Leonard’s on Sea. We’re half way through the six week course and every week sees new singers joining the group: people can just drop in to one or come to all six. I’m focussing on songs to nourish the soul and uplift the spirit, written by myself and other choir leaders of The Natural Voice Network (naturalvoice.net), of which I am a long standing member. There’s still time to join us on Saturday mornings from 11.30 to 1pm up to and including June 20th. We look forward to singing with you!

You are warmly invited to come and sing with me to celebrate the Winter Solstice. I will be teaching simple, beautiful songs to welcome back the light at the darkest time of year. No experience required, just an open heart and voice!

I’m singing today at the Hastings Pride Picnic at 1.30pm in Alexandra Park. The whole event is between 12pm and 4pm and takes place at Art in the Park, on the old bowling green. I’m especially happy that I am going to be joined by some of the singers from Naturally High, a singing group I’ve been running for the last few months in St Leonards Gardens – from one beautiful park to another! We are blessed with so many lovely outdoor spaces in the town. We look forward to seeing you later as we kick off Hastings Pride in style!

Looking forward to singing at Beatles Day this Sunday April 3rd (the first one in 2 years!) with guitarist Karl Mee. We’re performing at 7.20pm in the Sussex Hall at the White Rock Theatre Hastings. Hope to see you in the audience!

Really proud and pleased to be leading All Choired Up – Hastings and St Leonard’s LGBTQI+ choir at Hastings Pride tomorrow in its debut performance in the Arts and Alternative Tent at 12.15pm at the Oval, Falaise/Bohemia Rd

Beatles Day is still going ahead, it’ll just be a live streaming event instead. You can catch my performance at about 4.30pm today on Isolation Station Hastings Facebook page. See you later! (“Imagine there’s no virus, do be do be do…”).

I’m really looking forward to performing at the Posh Club in Hastings this Friday 28th February. I’m on at 1pm but the whole event takes place between 12 and 3pm. The Posh Club is a glamorous performance and social club for older people in 5 locations across London and the South East and Hastings is very lucky to be one of the locations. The tickets are all sold out, such is the popularity of these occasions. I can’t wait!

I’m really looking forward to singing at Hastings Herring Fair this Saturday November 23rd 2019 taking place at 1.30pm on the Stade open space in the Old Town (next to the fishing boats and Hastings Contemporary). I’ll be singing songs that tell extraordinary stories about ordinary/extraordinary women, including my own compositions. It’s free to get in and it will be ‘under cover’ so we’ll all stay dry!
